Blankets, Bread, and the Balcony Rail

Skip the planning. Grab a blanket, some bread and cheese, maybe olives if you have them, and head to the balcony. No big production, no guest list. Sit on the floor if there's no table. Talk about nothing important. It takes ten minutes to set up and somehow feels like a trip. Do it once and you'll want a standing balcony-picnic night, rain or shine, chairs optional.
